Abby had her 3-year doctor’s visit on Thursday and she’s apparently healthy and everything. The nurse cruised through everything so fast I almost didn’t get any pictures. She put Abby on the scale and weighed her before I could get the camera and flash in position. She weights 32.5 lbs., which is in the 70th percentile. Next they went to measure her height. She is 38.5 inches tall, which is in the 80th percentile.
It was the first time for the blood pressure check. I forgot what it was exactly, but it was normal.
Then the doctor came in and listened to her heart and listened to us tell him about Abby’s pooping and peeing and talking and eating and other stuff. She’s right on track, he said. She didn’t have to get any shots, so we were all happy about that.
He sent Abby down to get her vision tested at one of those devices like they have at the revenue office where you get your diver’s license. The nurse said most 3-year-olds aren’t with it enough to use the thing, but Abby did very well.
Abby did everything the nurses and doctor told her to do and she answered all their questions and generally wowed them like she does everywhere else.
