I’ll go ahead and share. My most traumatic birthday was age 3. I woke up with gum stuck in my hair, and my mother spent a good 2 hours trying to get it out before just cutting off my hair. There’s nothing like spending a birthday sticky, having your hair pulled, then cut, and showing up for the big day with a crappy hair cut.
So I agree…it was her party and she can cry if she wants to.
